Matt Shaunessy has extensive experience in the field of veterinary DNA diagnostics, currently serving as a Scientific Specialist at DNA Diagnostics Center since December 2003, where responsibilities include overseeing laboratory operations and developing new assays. Prior to this role, Matt Shaunessy worked at Maxxam Analytics from November 1995 to November 2002, also as a Scientific Specialist, focusing on laboratory operations and creating panels for parentage verification in equines and bovines. Matt Shaunessy began their career as a Senior Technician at General Synthesis & Diagnostics in 1995. Matt Shaunessy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Guelph, earned between 1982 and 1986.
