Forrest Samuels has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Forrest started their career as a Software Co-Op and Co-Op Mentor at LVL7 Systems, Inc. in 2000. Forrest then went on to co-found Liquid Communication Systems, LLC and served as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 2001 to 2008. In 2004, they joined Kadro Solutions as a Software Engineer and worked there for ten years. Currently, they are working at HomeGauge, where they have held various roles including Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineering Lead, and their current position as Director of Software Engineering. At HomeGauge, they have been involved in designing and developing a home inspection scheduling application, implementing Spring and Hibernate, maintaining the Resin web server, and providing support.

Forrest Samuels attended North Carolina State University from 1999 to 2003. During this time, they pursued a degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering, which they successfully completed.
