Crispin Botticelli

Crispin Botticelli has a strong background in software engineering and technology leadership. Crispin is currently working as the Director of Software Engineering at Salesloft since April 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Manager, Software Engineering at Salesloft from August 2022 to April 2023.

Before joining Salesloft, Botticelli served as the Vice President of Engineering at topo AI from April 2017 to August 2022. In this role, they were responsible for creating world-class safety and security software for fortune 500 companies, providing situational awareness of incoming threats in real-time. Crispin played a key role in the development of the Topo One platform, a cloud-centered SaaS software that focused on quick activation, a simple user interface, and timely risk mitigation.

From 2012 to 2017, Botticelli worked at Geofeedia as the Vice President, Engineering. Here, they were responsible for technology architecture, process, performance, and quality. Crispin also played a hands-on role in product development and the implementation of a large-scale Service Oriented Architecture deployment within a dynamic cloud fabric.

Prior to Geofeedia, Botticelli worked at INgage Networks as the Technical Director of Technology Delivery from June 2011 to September 2012 and as the Senior Manager of Technology Delivery from November 2009 to October 2011. In these roles, they managed teams and oversaw project operations for the development and delivery of enterprise-class social networking software solutions. Crispin also provided technical guidance, architectural design, and implemented Agile and Test Driven Development methodologies.

Earlier in their career, Botticelli worked as a Principal Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at Neighborhood America from 2008 to 2009. Crispin also served as a Senior Web Software Consultant at Nashn LLC from 2002 to 2008 and as a Web Developer at Meridian Technology Group from 2000 to 2002.

Crispin Botticelli began their education in 1997 at Finger Lakes Community College where they studied math. In 1998, they continued their education at CPE and pursued a field of study in Philosophy.
