Asaf David is currently a software engineer at Homeis. Prior to this, they were the research and development team manager at Artlist from April 2021 to March 2022. There, they led a full-stack team in charge of the main product of the company artlist.io as well as artgrid.io. Asaf built a diverse team - started from 1 developer and reached a team of 15 members (FE, FS, QA, Devops) and migrated artlist.io's architecture from a .NET monolith to a JS microservices, with React & NextJS in the FE and NodeJS as BE. Asaf also built a team culture based on high ownership, frequent candor feedback, and transparency.
Prior to Artlist, David was a full-stack developer at Homeis from July 2017 to March 2021. There, they built and developed Homeis mobile application from scratch including all of the apps various aspects - CI/CD, testing and more (React-native, Redux). Asaf also built the web infrastructure including SSR (React) and worked on Homeis servers, built on a micro-service architecture (NodeJS). In addition, David led the frontend code quality and design decisions (Tech Lead), defined and managed recruiting and onboarding process.
Before joining Homeis, David was a front-end developer at Fiverr (Fiverr.com) from January 2016 to July 2017.
Asaf David has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Tel Aviv University. Asaf also has certification from LinkedIn in Managing Teams.
Asaf David reports to Hanan Lashover, Co-Founder & CTO. They work with Taras Kostiuchenko - Software Engineer, Ben Cohen - Software Engineer, and Kirill Yerin - Software Engineer.
