Monique Lyons

Monique Lyons is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in clinical quality assurance and therapeutic services. Currently serving as a Clinical Quality Assurance professional at Homeless Children's Network and a Therapist in Residency with the Bay Area Chapter of the Association of Black Psychologists, Monique specializes in providing trauma-informed, culturally affirming care to multicultural children and families, particularly those of African ancestry. Previous roles include Expressive Art Therapist at the California Institute of Integral Studies and the American Indian Child Resource Center, focusing on indigenous expressive arts and post-colonial ancestral trauma healing. Monique's professional background also includes positions as an Executive Specialist at Lyft, a Senior Executive Assistant at Ancestry, and a Senior Concierge at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company LLC. Monique holds a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from the California Institute of Integral Studies, along with master's and bachelor's degrees from Woodbury University in media and interdisciplinary studies.
