Homeless Prenatal Program
Nora Murcia is a dedicated professional in the field of supportive housing and youth development, currently serving as a Supportive Housing Case Manager at Homeless Prenatal Program since June 2023, while also holding the position of Housing Problem Solving Specialist at Compass Family Services since December 2019. Prior experience includes roles as a Youth Development Coordinator at Boys and Girls Club of San Leandro from August 2018 to March 2019, and as a Lead Cooking Instructor at Real Options for City Kids (R.O.C.K.) from January 2017 to July 2018. Nora holds a degree in Liberal Studies from San Francisco State University, and an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from City College of San Francisco.
Homeless Prenatal Program
Mission: In partnership with our families, break the cycle of childhood poverty. The Homeless Prenatal Program is a nationally-recognized family resource center in San Francisco that empowers homeless and low-income families, particularly mothers motivated by pregnancy and parenthood, to find within themselves the strength and confidence they need to transform their lives. We serve over 3,500 low-income and homeless families annually, providing a variety of programs and services to help families become healthy, stable and self-sufficient.
