Susan Newton Williams

Susan Newton Williams is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in social work and community engagement. Currently serving as the Family & Community Liaison at Homer Central School District since October 2022, Susan's previous roles include Assistant Director and Project Manager at Seven Valleys Health Coalition from March 2016 to October 2022. Other positions held include School-Based Counselor at Family Counseling Services, Social Worker and Bereavement Coordinator at Caring Community Hospice of Cortland, and Counselor at Tompkins Cortland Community College. Susan also has experience as a Therapist and Interim Prevention Counselor, and served as Youth Services Supervisor at Cortland Youth Bureau for over a decade. Academically, Susan holds a Master of Social Work from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary English Education from Buffalo State University.
