Yaakov Yehuda Bush has had a long and varied career in software engineering. Yaakov Yehuda began their career in 1999 as a Programmer/Analyst I at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, eventually becoming a Project Manager/Programmer Analyst III. In 2010, they moved to freelance web development with Deskelf, where they developed a conference room scheduling application with credit card payment capabilities. In 2011, they became the Lead Developer at AccounTrex. In 2017, they joined Hometalk as a Senior Full Stack Engineer, taking a leading role in the development of a brand new marketplace, and developing an app for Android and iOS using React Native. Yaakov Yehuda also participated in a company-wide project to completely rewrite the front end of their website from AngularJS to React.
Yaakov Yehuda Bush attended University of California, Los Angeles from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. From 2006 to 2008, they attended Yeshiva Ohr Somayach to study Talmudic Law. Yaakov Yehuda then attended Yeshiva Nesivos Ahron from 2008 to 2012, also to study Talmudic Law.
