Christoph Mayrhofer

Christoph Mayrhofer is a data science professional with extensive experience in both academia and industry. Currently serving as a Data Scientist at Makersite since June 2022, Christoph focuses on building data science capabilities within the organization. Previously, as an AI Researcher at CertaintyLab, Christoph contributed to research in traffic light control using Deep Reinforcement Learning and implemented Graph Neural Networks for enhanced training efficiency. Christoph's career includes roles as Data Science Manager and Senior Data Scientist at Wayfair, and postdoctoral research fellowships at Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München and the University of Heidelberg. Christoph completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics at Technische Universität Wien and holds a Master's degree in the same field from the same institution.
