Richard Gallahue

Richard Gallahue is an experienced banking professional with a strong background in commercial credit and special assets management. Currently serving as the Commercial Credit Manager at HomeTrust Bank since August 2015, Richard oversees a team of seven underwriters and focuses on portfolio management and resource allocation across multiple states. Previous roles include Senior Vice President - Director of Special Assets at Four Oaks Bank & Trust, where Richard led efforts in non-performing asset resolution, and Special Assets Manager at CommunityOne Bank, where a significant reduction in non-performing assets was achieved. Richard’s career began at Orion Bank as a Credit Officer, with progressive responsibilities that include senior positions at Mutual of Omaha Bank and Bank of Florida. Richard holds a Master of Science in Finance and an MBA in Accounting and Finance, both from Boston College.
