Evguenia Alechine

Evguenia Alechine, PhD, ELS, serves as the Chair of the Getting into Medical Writing group at the European Medical Writers Association (EMWA) since March 2017, facilitating support for new medical writers through various initiatives, including monthly meetings and resource development. In addition, Evguenia is a co-editor for the journal Medical Writing, where responsibilities include editorial management and contributor communication, and is also an associate editor and section editor. As a science communication specialist and career coach, Evguenia provides training and mentorship for individuals transitioning into science communication, highlighting a strong focus on personalized coaching. Evguenia's academic credentials include a PhD in Biochemistry specializing in Human Genetics from the University of Buenos Aires, complemented by experience as a lecturer in science communication and participation in impactful projects such as Homeward Bound, aimed at enhancing the influence of women in scientific decision-making.
