Homeward Bound is a non-profit based in Phoenix, Arizona. Our mission is to create pathways out of poverty for homeless families ready to make a change. Since our founding in 1990, we have helped thousands of homeless families in the Valley with not just housing, but real solutions to the causes of homelessness — so they won't ever be homeless again.

The Community and Youth Programs Team at Homeward Bound AZ is dedicated to developing and implementing comprehensive programs that support homeless families, particularly focusing on youth and community engagement. Their efforts include creating educational and recreational activities for children, coordinating with local schools and community organizations, and promoting preventive measures to address and mitigate the underlying factors of homelessness. The team aims to foster a supportive community environment where families and children can thrive and build a sustainable future.
