Lasaunda Tate

LaSaunda Tate has a diverse work experience, holding various roles throughout their career. LaSaunda began as the Executive Director of CAL Camp at the Associated Students of the University of California in 2003. LaSaunda then worked as a Political Organizer Trainer at Peace Action West, where they trained and developed new peace activists. In 2009, they became the Director of Law and Justice Programs at McCullum Youth Court, managing programming and relationships with stakeholders. LaSaunda later joined Brighter Beginnings as the Financial Education Coordinator, where they empowered low-income families through strategic partnerships and community workshops. LaSaunda also served as the Director of Prosperity Partners Programs at Community Action Marin and the Vice Chair of the North Richmond Municipal Advisory Council.
