Deborah Holtkamp obtained their Bachelor of Music (BM) degree in Music from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, which they completed from 1981 to 1986. Following this, they pursued a Master of Music (MM) degree in Music from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they accomplished between 1986 and 1988. Later, they attended the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus in Marketing from 1987 to 1989.
