Claudine Murphy

Claudine Murphy has a diverse range of work experience spanning various roles and industries. Claudine began their career as a Volunteer at Oxfordshire Artweeks, where they worked closely with local artists and assisted with event planning. Claudine then served as a Museum Assistant at the Museum of Oxford, where they gained experience in exhibition setup and promotion.

Claudine went on to work as an Arts & Culture Intern at Ruder Finn, where they managed media databases and assisted with copywriting tasks. Claudine also served as a Teaching Assistant at Letter Kingdom, gaining experience in a classroom setting.

In 2013, Claudine worked as a Volunteer at Art & About Sydney, where they collaborated with artist studios on installation manuals and assisted with exhibition setup. Claudine also worked as a Team Assistant at Merlin Entertainments plc during the same year.

Claudine then transitioned into the art gallery industry, starting as an Appointments & Exhibitions Coordinator at Halcyon Gallery. Claudine was responsible for coordinating gallery maintenance projects and working with the sales team to display artwork. Claudine later became the Deputy Manager - Client Services, where they developed relationships with external suppliers and arranged client requests. Claudine also served as the Deputy Manager - Appointments & Exhibitions, managing artwork allocation and supporting exhibition organization.

Following their time at Halcyon Gallery, Claudine became the Gallery Manager at Stephen Friedman Gallery. In this role, they oversaw a 25-year anniversary event and exhibition, managed budgets, and chaired management meetings.

Most recently, Claudine has been working at Nefarious Design as an Interior Designer, preparing design concepts and feasibility layouts for clients. Claudine has also been responsible for building the supplier database and collaborating on drawing packs with the director. Currently, they are employed at Homewings as a Project Manager, where they manage projects from start to finish, compiles budgets, and works with clients on design concepts and final designs.
