Latoya Savage

LaToya Savage is an experienced professional in human resources and education, currently serving as a Human Resources Specialist and Senior Director of Operations at The Y in Central Maryland since August 2017. In this role, LaToya screens and interviews over 25 prospective candidates and conducts recruiting events with local agencies and colleges. Prior experience includes serving as a Home Economics Teacher at Baltimore County Public Schools from August 2015 to July 2017, where LaToya designed engaging lessons and collaborated with various stakeholders to enhance student education. LaToya also worked as a Program Associate at the U.S. Army Garrison Fort George G. Meade Child Development Center from December 2013 to August 2015, ensuring compliance with policies while providing care and guidance to program participants. LaToya holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Consumer Sciences/Human Sciences from Morgan State University and received further education at the University of Minnesota from April 2021 to February 2022.
