Hiba Abbas

Hiba Abbas is a bilingual clinical consultant at Homewood Health since October 2022, specializing in confidential clinical consultations focusing on client strengths and solutions. Prior to this role, Hiba served as a clinical advisor at The Salvation Army, managing clinical services for a team of approximately twenty staff and overseeing a domestic violence project. Hiba gained valuable experience as an intern at The Argyle Institute of Human Relations, applying systemic therapy models to a case load of ten patients. Previously, Hiba worked at LifeWorks (acquired by TELUS Health) in various bilingual roles, providing customer service and crisis management for organizational clients. Hiba holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Mental Health from UQAM, a post-graduate diploma in Legal Psychology from Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, and a Bachelor's in Psychology from the Université de Montréal.
