Daniel Goodwin is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Homeworld Collective, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing the climate biotech sector, since June 2022. Previously, Daniel served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the MIT Media Lab from August 2015 to November 2021, contributing to neuroengineering under the Synthetic Neurobiology group led by Professor Ed Boyden. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Scientist in the Neuroscience Group at the Simons Foundation, CTO and Co-Founder of Mobile Data Labs, and Entrepreneur in Residence at both StartX and IDEO. Daniel's academic credentials include a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an M.S. from Stanford University, and a B.S. from Harvey Mudd College.
