Michael Gienger started their work experience as a Phd Researcher Assistant at Technische Universität München in February 1999 and worked there until June 2003. Michael then joined Honda Research Institute Europe GmbH in October 2003 as a Senior Scientist and held this position until March 2009. From April 2009 to March 2019, they worked as a Principal Scientist at Honda Research Institute Europe GmbH. Currently, they are working at Honda Research Institute Europe GmbH as the Chief Scientist, starting from April 2019.
Michael Gienger obtained their Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich, from 1994 to 1998. Michael then pursued a doctoral degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Mechatronics and Robotics, from 1999 to 2003, also at the Technical University of Munich.
