J. Taylor Oxford

J. Taylor Oxford, Jr. is an experienced aerospace engineer currently serving as the Engineering Manager for Test and Evaluation at Honda Research Institute USA, Inc., responsible for leading flight tests and developing engineering labs since April 2023. Previously, Oxford held various roles at Gulfstream Aerospace, including Flight Test Group Head and Flight Test Project Lead, where significant contributions were made to aircraft development and certification processes. With foundational experience as a Flight Test Engineer, Engineer in Aircraft Loads at Textron Aviation, and research positions at Wichita State University, Cessna Aircraft Company, and various academic institutions, Oxford possesses a strong background in flight simulations, structural testing, and adaptive flight control systems. Oxford holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Wichita State University and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
