Michael Koenig serves as the Head of New Business Development and Incubation at American Honda Motor Company, Inc., since February 2012, where responsibilities include the management of the Honda Smart Home project and leading a new Innovation Function. Prior to this role, Michael was a Principal Engineer at Honda R&D Americas, Inc. from July 1995 to February 2012, overseeing vehicle development from concept to production. Michael also contributed as a Board Member of the Vehicle-Grid Integration Council from January 2020 to December 2021. Michael holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
