Elsie Purcell

Elsie Purcell has been the Library Director at Hondo Public Library/City of Hondo, TX since May 2010. Prior to that, they were the Circulation Manager at Mustang Public Library from June 1996 to May 2010, where they were responsible for assisting customers, supervising circulation staff, preparing reports, maintaining book processing supplies, coordinating the volunteer program, and maintaining contacts.

Elsie Purcell has a Master of Library & Information Science (M.L.I.S.) from Emporia State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma. Elsie also has certification from Ex Libris in Ex Libris Alma Certified Administrator.
