Jamie Kindred

Jamie Kindred has over six years of work experience in various roles related to public relations, marketing, and community programs. Currently, they are the Director of Public Relations & Recreation at the City of Hondo, a position they have held since June 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Public Information Officer at the same organization. Before joining the City of Hondo, Jamie worked as the Community Programs and Projects Coordinator at the City of Hondo from May 2020 to January 2023. Jamie also has experience as a Corporate Sales Specialist and Social Media Marketing professional at the Hillside Boutique Hotel from May 2019 to May 2020. Furthermore, Jamie worked as a Media Specialist at the Hondo Area Chamber of Commerce from March 2017 to May 2020.

Jamie Kindred attended the University of Texas at Permian Basin from 2020 to 2023, where they studied Communication and Media Studies. Additionally, in 1988 and 1989, Jamie attended Texas State University. They returned to the University of Texas at Permian Basin in 2020 to continue their studies in Communication and Media Studies.
