Richar Perez

Richar Perez has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Richar started their career as an Especialista en automatización at EMGEF in 2015. Richar then worked as a Fiber Optic Technician at Safety Net Corp dba FiberTechs in 2016, where they specialized in testing, tipping, splicing, and construction services for fiber optic networks.

In 2016, Perez also worked at Prince Telecom as a Cable Technician Installer. At FTE Networks, Inc., they held multiple roles from 2017 to 2019, including Installation Technician, Field Network Operations, and Team Lead NetOps, Surveyor & Activations. In these roles, they were responsible for various tasks such as cable installation, network equipment testing and provisioning, and leading improvement efforts for network technicians.

Perez joined Starry, Inc. in 2019 as a Network Deployment Solutions Engineer, where they provided technical product overviews to customers, generated solution documentation, and resolved technical design issues. Richar also served as a Project Manager at Starry, Inc., closely managing and supervising the deployment, installation, and coordination of multiple projects.

Currently, Perez works as a Project Manager at Honest Networks, starting in 2022.

Richard Perez obtained an Engineer's degree in Telecommunications and Electronics from the Universidad Central "Marta Abreu" de Las Villas. Additionally, they have certifications as an ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP) from ICAgile and has also completed the EFSET Quick English Check with a score of Advanced/Proficient (CEFR C1/C2) from EF Education First. Richar also holds the OSHA 30 Construction Safety and Health certification from the OSHA Training Institute Education Center at Chabot-Las Positas Community College District.
