Efrem Roberson has a wealth of experience in the software engineering field. Efrem began their career in 2013 as a Quality Engineering Intern at Intelligent Hearing Systems. In 2014, they became a Lead Software Engineer at eHealth Initiative and Principal at Efrem LLC, where they developed and deployed 10+ applications for clients in the Digital Health Information, Genomics, Medical Device, Entertainment, and eCommerce industries. Efrem then moved on to become a Senior Software Engineer at General Dynamics Information Technology in 2015 and CTO at Heuristics Health in 2016. In 2018, they joined Fullscreen as a Software Engineer, and in 2020 they became a Lead Software Engineer at Honeybee Health. Additionally, in 2012 they were a Graduate Researcher at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, where they designed, developed, and patented a device to provide localized neuroprotection during cochlear implant surgeries.
Efrem Roberson received their Master of Science (M.S.) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Miami in 2014. In 2015, they attended George Mason University for Computer Science. In 2016, they took a course in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at Columbia Business School. In 2018, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera.
