Stephen Indyk is an experienced aerospace professional with a robust background in robotics and engineering. Currently serving as Director of Space Systems at Honeybee Robotics since June 2012, Stephen has held various roles, including Senior Engineering Manager and Project Engineer for mechanical systems, contributing to pivotal projects such as the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity and the Mars Science Laboratory Curiosity. Prior experience includes work as a Jr. Engineer with the NASA Lunar & Planetary Science Academy, where Stephen designed a robotic system for microgravity, and as a Jr. Engineer at Volvo 3P/Mack Trucks Inc., enhancing engineering skills in vehicle architecture. Stephen began a career in robotics research through a NASA Undergraduate Student Research Program, where research on tetrahedral robotics led to a patent application. Stephen holds a degree from Rutgers University, completed in 2010.
