Morgante Pell

Morgante Pell is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Head of AI at honeycomb.io since March 2025, where Morgante is responsible for leading the development of AI features. Prior to this role, Morgante was the Founder of Grit from May 2022 to April 2025, focusing on software modernization and maintenance through the use of static analysis and large language models. Morgante held the position of Senior Staff Architect at Google from September 2017 to May 2022, contributing to the development of infrastructure-as-code tools that served a significant portion of Google Cloud customers. Earlier in the career, Morgante owned and developed web applications at MasterMade from June 2007 to September 2017, and served as VP Technology & Lead Product Architect at Some Spider from March 2014 to August 2015, where Morgante contributed to the rapid growth of the user base. Morgante holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from New York University Abu Dhabi and an International Baccalaureate from the United World College of the American West.
