Derek Riley

Derek Riley is an Advanced Software Engineer at Honeywell since October 2020, contributing significantly to the development, verification, and validation of the innovative Honeywell Anthem flight deck system, which is a cloud-connected cockpit designed to improve operational efficiency and safety for autonomous flight. Previously, Derek held positions as Software Engineer II and Software Engineer I, focusing on the Next Generation Flight Management System for the Boeing B-747 Air Force 1 Government Aircraft, ensuring compliance with DO-178B objectives through rigorous testing. Prior experience includes an IT internship at USAA, where support was provided for data marts and database reporting. Derek Riley holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Arizona and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science at Arizona State University.
