Esha Shah is an undergraduate research assistant at the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering department of the University of Florida since January 2023. Esha serves as the co-president of the University of Florida chapter of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) since September 2019, having held multiple leadership positions within the organization, including internal vice president. Esha's previous experience includes roles as simulation director and manufacturing coordinator for the University of Florida Liquid Propulsion Development Team, focusing on computational fluid dynamics and 3D CAD modeling for rocket engine components. In the summer of 2022, Esha worked as a preliminary design intern at GE Aviation, contributing to the CFM RISE Program and analyzing thermodynamic data for engine cycles. Esha holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical/Space Engineering from the University of Florida, earned in 2023, following graduation from Braden River High School in 2019.
