Peter Simmons

Peter Simmons is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in quality engineering, electrical engineering, and avionics technologies. Currently serving as a Senior Quality Engineer at Honeywell since March 2020, Peter previously worked as an Electrical Engineer at Johnson Engineering, Inc., where electric single line diagrams for lift stations were developed and power systems modeled using AUTOCAD and SKM Power Tools. Prior to this, Peter served as an Avionics Technician with the 125th Fighter Wing, specializing in diagnosing and maintaining complex aircraft systems for the Boeing F-15 Eagle. Peter has also contributed to academic research as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of North Florida, developing applications for wheelchair navigation and conducting strain measurements for underwater vehicles. Peter holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of North Florida, completed in 2019, and has foundational education from Fleming Island High School.
