Rich Kent

Rich Kent is the current Vice President and General Counsel at Honeywell. Rich has extensive experience in corporate law, having worked as an associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP from January 1999 to December 2005. During their time there, they negotiated and provided advice regarding public and private mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, corporate structuring, equity financing and joint venture arrangements. Rich also provided general corporate advice to clients regarding public company legal and financial reporting obligations, fiduciary obligations of company officers and directors and corporate governance. In addition, Kent has experience working with foreign, non-sovereign clients (including French, German and Latin American clients) and other transactional experience involving foreign companies.

Prior to their work at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, Kent served as a law clerk at the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts from September 1998 to August 1999.

Rich Kent studied economics, political science, and law at Yale University and the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, respectively. Rich earned their J.D. from Penn Law cum laude.
