Richard Fong

Richard Fong is an accomplished process engineer with extensive experience in designing and optimizing processes for various industries, particularly in the liquefied natural gas sector. Currently serving as Lead Process Engineer at Honeywell since September 2024, Richard is focused on the design of the Air Products Main Cryogenic Heat Exchanger. Prior to this role, Richard worked at Air Products as a Senior Principal Process Engineer and contributed significantly to process design in critical energy projects. Previous positions include serving as a Process Engineering Consultant at DuPont, where Richard developed a Basic Engineering Package for a commercial Cellulosic Ethanol plant, and as a Senior Process Engineer at Air Products, overseeing major projects exceeding $300 million. Richard's career began at Xerox, where responsibilities included scaling up toner production processes. Richard holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
