Vimal Gopinadhan has extensive experience in engineering and project management within the refining, petrochemicals, and gas sectors, particularly in the APAC region. From May 2011 to January 2022, Vimal served as Director of Engineering & Projects at Honeywell UOP, overseeing engineering and project execution and operations at a membrane production facility in Malaysia. Previously, Vimal held the position of Regional Senior Engineering Manager and Technical Services Manager (Gas Processing) at Honeywell UOP, where leadership in carbon capture and engineering initiatives was emphasized. Prior to joining Honeywell, Vimal worked at PETRONAS from January 2005 to April 2011, holding various roles including Process Engineer, Shift Superintendent, Senior Technologist, and Asset/Operations Manager, again focusing on carbon capture and demonstrating strong leadership. Vimal holds a Master’s degree in Process Integration in Chemical Engineering from the University of Technology PETRONAS (UMIST).
