Daniel Lai

Daniel Lai is currently serving as the Dean and Chair Professor at Hong Kong Baptist University. Prior to this, Daniel was a Chair Professor and Head of Department at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where Daniel also held the position of Director of the Institute of Active Ageing. Before their time in Hong Kong, Daniel was a Professor at the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Calgary. Daniel holds a PhD in Social Welfare from Case Western Reserve University, an MSW in Social Work from the University of Calgary, and a Master of Social Sciences in Urban Studies from The University of Hong Kong.
