Jason Dorwart

Jason Dorwart is an accomplished academic and editor specializing in Global Theatre Studies. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Hong Kong Baptist University since 2021, Jason has previous experience as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Oberlin College, where focus areas included Theater History and Disability Studies. Additionally, Jason holds editorial positions at Routledge & Taylor and previously held editorial roles with Theatre Forum: International Theatre Journal. Academic credentials include a PhD in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts from UC San Diego, an MA in Theatre from the University of Colorado Boulder, a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law, and a BFA in Theatre from Creighton University.
