Kw Cheah

KW Cheah is the Director of the Institute of Advanced Materials, a spin-off company from Hong Kong Baptist University, where an ultra-hard anti-scratch thin film invention was developed alongside collaborators Billy LI, King Fai TAM, Hoi Lam, and Lee Ka Suen. In addition, KW Cheah holds the position of Elizabeth Law Endowed Chair Professor in Advanced Materials and Associate Head at Hong Kong Baptist University since October 1990. KW Cheah completed a B.Sc. Hon., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Physics, focusing on the Science of Materials and Electronic Materials at Imperial College London from 1972 to 1979.
