Becky Ip

As the Deputy Executive Director of the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), Ms Becky Ip holds responsibility for the business and market development of the organisation, overseeing the Business Development Division and the Worldwide Offices in Asia Pacific, including Greater China, Southeast Asia, Japan, Korea, Australia and New Zealand. Ms. Ip is a travel industry veteran with more than 20 years’ experience in business management and marketing in Greater China. She has been with the HKTB since August 1999 and previously served as the organisation’s Regional Director of Greater China, leading the marketing work of both the Mainland and Taiwan offices. Prior to joining the HKTB, she worked with international hotel groups and international private equity funds on various tourism development projects in China.

Ms. Ip serves on a number of tourism-related organisations, including the Retail & Tourism Committee of Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Ip graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. She also received a Master’s degree in Global Management and E-commerce from the same university.
