Patrick Yau

Mr Yau was appointed Chief Investment Officer of Hong Leong Asia ("HLA") on 1 April 2021.

Mr Yau has more than 25 years of working experience in the areas of corporate investment covering various industries across Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Prior to joining HLA, Mr Yau was the Head of Research in Citigroup Global Markets (Singapore) and Macquarie Capital Securities (Singapore) respectively. He was also Associate Director at ABN AMRO Asia Securities, covering industries across Singapore and Taiwan.

Mr Yau holds a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Computer and Information Sciences from the National University of Singapore and was awarded a CFA charter from the CFA Institute (Association for Investment Management and Research).
