Nathan Ciara

VP of Engineering and Operations at Honle UV America

Nathan Ciara has held various positions in the engineering and operations field since 2002. Nathan began their career as a Service Engineer at Serac Inc. in 2002, followed by a Senior Partner role at Yurva in 2008. In 2009, they became a Project Engineer at S.A.M. Solutions. In 2012, they co-founded Boston Shuckin Truck, a seafood business. In 2017, they became the VP of Engineering and Operations at Honle UV America, an OEM manufacturer of UV equipment supplying the print, medical and solar simulation fields. During their time at Honle UV America, they have traveled domestically and internationally to customers for sales visits, demos, training and installations, managed the solar simulation product line including sales, design, installation and service, managed the UVC sterilization product line including sales, design, installation and service, identified and specified all facility requirements for installations, attended trade shows for technical support and lead generation, maintained OEM accounts, created detailed drawings and overview block diagrams of systems to help customers understand the products and technology, created and presented Power Point presentations tailored to customer requests highlighting technical advantages, managed and scheduled the service department, worked with end customers on creating customer specifications for new equipment, traveled domestically and internationally to end customers for urgent repair of down equipment, gave presentations at trade shows highlighting new equipment and technology, and developed custom software to record and organize all information for Honle UV America service department.

Nathan Ciara received their High School Diploma from Charles H McCann Technical School in 1997 after studying Electricity from 1994 to 1997. Following this, they attended Western New England University from 1997 to 2002 and received a BSEE in Software.
