Milo Sean Kalama

Milo Sean Kalama is an experienced professional with a background in public service and military operations. Currently serving as a Hazmat Police officer with the Honolulu Police Department since February 2014, Milo is dedicated to protecting and serving the people of Honolulu. Honolulu Police Department

The Honolulu Police Department is the principal law enforcement agency of the City and County of Honolulu, Hawaii. The department’s jurisdiction encompasses the entire island of Oahu, which has a circumference of about 137 miles and an area of approximately 596 square miles. Oahu has a population of about 1,000,000 including military personnel, but excluding visitors. In 2018, there were 5,862,358 visitors to the island of Oahu. The HPD is comprised of 29 divisions. As of March 2020, the department has 1,820 sworn officers and 464 civilian personnel. The island of Oahu is divided into eight patrol districts. The district stations are located in Kalihi, Kaneohe, Kapolei, Pearl City, and Wahiawa. The police substations are located in Chinatown, Kahuku, Kailua, Waianae, and Waikiki. The HPD is nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA).
