Joel Chinchilla Hernandez

Joel Chinchilla Hernandez is an experienced Senior iOS Developer with a strong background in iOS app development. Joel started their career as a Software Developer at SuiGeneris, where they worked on the migration of a Palm OS app to a Windows Mobile 6.5 app. Joel then joined aXelerate Solutions as a Software/Mobile Developer, focusing on developing an iPhone app to manage Microsoft Project files on the phone and using ArcGis API to incorporate maps in Sharepoint.

In 2012, Joel moved to Intertec International as a Developer, where they developed an iOS app that allowed customer users to access information from a website on their devices. Joel was also involved in backend development for enterprise web services.

Joel further expanded their mobile development skills at Advance Learning, where they worked as a Teacher and honed their teaching abilities. Joel then joined ULACIT as a Teacher, focusing on imparting knowledge in the field of mobile development.

Joel's career took a significant turn in 2013 when they joined EagleView Technologies, Inc. as a Senior Mobile Developer. Joel was responsible for reengineering the company's iOS app and creating a new app to offer the company's services to customers. Joel had a key role in developing and enhancing the iOS app.

Following their time at EagleView Technologies, Joel joined Bar-Z as a Senior iOS Developer. Here, they contributed to the migration of an existing app from Objective-C to Swift and worked on the development of new features for a new version of the app.

Joel's expertise in iOS development led him to work for Stateside Co. as a Senior iOS Developer. During their tenure, they worked on iOS development projects until April 2021.

Joel's most recent position is as a Senior iOS Developer at Extra Space Storage. Here, they have been responsible for iOS development and has contributed to the company's app. Their employment with Extra Space Storage started in April 2021 and currently continues.

Starting in 2022, Joel began working as a Senior iOS Developer at Honor Education, Et Al. Joel has been involved in iOS development projects, utilizing their extensive experience in the field.

Joel Chinchilla Hernandez obtained their Bachiller degree in Ingenieria en Sistemas from the Universidad Latina de Costa Rica, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their degree, they obtained certification in MBSS: Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Customization from Microsoft in September 2006. Joel also received the MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional certification from Microsoft in March 2006.
