Steve LaBella has a diverse range of work experience spanning several industries. Steve is currently working as the CSO/CMO at Honor Education since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an advisor and investor in multiple consumer product, education, and technology-focused startups under 511 Ventures since 2018. From 2016 to 2019, they served as the Vice President of Marketing and Brand Identity at Snap Inc., where they built and scaled the brand and marketing function for various brands under the Snap Inc. portfolio. Before that, they were the SVP of Global Marketing at Mattel: Fisher-Price from 2013 to 2015, where they managed the Preschool Division's P&L and led marketing and brand teams. From 2009 to 2013, they held the position of VP of Marketing & Communications - Europe, MENA at Mattel, Inc., where they built and led the first European Customer Marketing, E-Commerce, Digital, Media, PR & Market Research team. Additionally, they created and led the first Brand Marketing team for CNEUR and MENA. Prior to that, they worked in various roles at Mattel, Inc. from 2005 to 2009, including Senior Director of Customer Marketing - US. Before joining Mattel, Inc., they worked as the Director of Marketing at EMAK Worldwide from 2003 to 2005. Steve LaBella began their career as a Senior Brand Manager at Mattel, Inc. in 1998 and later worked as a Project Manager at Price Waterhouse Coopers from 1992 to 1996.
Steve LaBella has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from UC Santa Barbara. Steve also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, with a focus on Marketing and Finance.
