Emily Allen

Emily Allen is an accomplished communications leader with extensive experience in corporate communications, thought leadership, and advocacy, currently serving as Director of Corporate Communications and Director of Thought Leadership and Advocacy at Honor since September 2021. Previously, Emily held similar roles at Home Instead Senior Care, where significant initiatives included advancing global brand advocacy and developing specific thought leadership strategies for over 1200 franchise locations. Prior experience includes roles as Advocacy and Thought Leadership Manager and Government Affairs Manager, where innovative programs such as "Screentime with a Senior" were created to connect elected officials with older adults, alongside developing comprehensive government relations strategies in the U.S. and Canada. Earlier in the career, Emily served as Associate Attorney at Kutak Rock and gained valuable legal experience as a Law Clerk in the Douglas County Attorney's office. Emily holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Creighton University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
