Joann Odell

JoAnn Odell began their work experience in 2004 as the Human Resources & Medical Staff Services Director at Surgical Specialty Hospital of Arizona. During their time there, they successfully managed HR and medical staff services, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and overseeing the growth of the organization.

In 2010, JoAnn joined Banner Health as the Chief Human Resources Officer. In this role, they provided expertise in HR disciplines for two entities within the healthcare system, delivering counsel to leaders and employees. JoAnn achieved significant results, including reducing labor costs by $7 million.

From 2017 to 2017, JoAnn served as the Executive Director of Human Resources at Foothills Sports Medicine Physical Therapy. JoAnn provided comprehensive HR expertise for the organization and implemented strategies that reduced benefits costs while improving coverage.

In 2018, JoAnn joined Destiny Springs Healthcare as the Human Resources Director, where they played a key role in HR operations.

Currently, JoAnn is employed at HonorHealth, initially starting in 2019 as a Senior HR Business Partner/Director. In 2020, they were promoted to the position of Director of HR Operations.

JoAnn Odell received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Human Resources Management and Services from Ottawa University in 2001. In 2015, they completed their Masters degree in Business Administration, also from Ottawa University.
