Yankuo Qiao

Yankuo Qiao, PhD, ACUE, currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Finance at Hood College since August 2022. Previously, Qiao held positions as Visiting Professor in Finance at Oakland University and as a Postdoctoral Lecturer of Professional Practice and Lecturer at Rutgers Business School. Qiao has extensive teaching experience, covering various finance courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and was recognized with the Dean's Research Fellowship for Academic Excellence during tenure as a Dean's Dissertation Fellow at Rutgers University. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Finance and Economics from Rutgers University, along with postdoctoral research in Finance and Applied Economics from Fudan University. Additional academic experiences include participation in diverse summer programs at esteemed institutions such as Saïd Business School, University of Oxford and the University of Chicago. Prior professional experience includes roles in risk management at China Merchants Bank and an internship at the People's Bank of China.
