AEM Engineer at Hoodoo Digital

J.T. Vought has a long history of work experience. Starting in 2004, they were a Site Director at Boys & Girls Clubs of America, where they managed an on-campus after-school program through the local school district and directed and advised 5 staff in preparing and implementing curriculum to children grades k-6. In 2007, they became a Facilitator II at YouthCity, where they prepared and implemented educational curriculum for children ages 8-13 in an After-school and Summer program setting and transported children in a 35 passenger bus. In 2013, they became an Administrative Assistant in 3D and 2D animation at the University of Utah - Employment, where they assisted the Teacher in lessons and connected with the students during designated lab hours and email (via Canvas) to provide advice and techniques in animation and the related software (Maya, Aftereffects, Flash animation, etc.). In 2014, they became a Site Coordinator at Youth City and a Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, and Quality Assurance Lead at Axis41, A Merkle Company. At Axis41, they were responsible for checking the quality of current Client websites, testing in-house web-authoring components through all stages of development, proofreading and authoring new content that has yet to be published, create and implement automated testing for all aspects of a site for items such as Analytic tracking, implemented redirects, and especially AEM developed components. As of September of 2016, they also had managerial duties for the QA Team. In 2021, they became an AEM Engineer at Hoodoo Digital.

J.T. Vought obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) from Salt Lake Community College between 2002 and 2005, majoring in General Studies. From 2009 to 2014, they attended the University of Utah and obtained a Film and Media Arts degree with an Electronic Arts and Engineering Emphasis, as well as a minor in Computer Science. In July 2020, they obtained an Adobe Certified Expert - Adobe Experience Manager Sites Developer certification from Adobe.
