Bart van der Roest

Bart van der Roest has extensive experience in project and contract management, particularly in infrastructure and water management. Since November 2008, Bart has held various roles at Hoogheemraadschap van Schieland en de Krimpenerwaard, including Schaduwfractielid and Lid steunfractie for SGP-ChristenUnie. Currently, Bart serves as an Adviseur project- en contractmanagement at Van der Roest Advies, focusing on the Living Lab Heavy Duty Laadpleinen project. Additionally, Bart holds several board positions, including Bestuurslid and secretaris at the Koninklijke Vereniging van Infrabeheerders and Ombudsman Aanbesteding, and Ouderling-scriba at De Morgenster. Bart's prior experience includes a long tenure at Rijkswaterstaat, where roles ranged from water manager to project manager for major initiatives. Bart holds multiple educational qualifications, including a degree in Civil Engineering and various certifications in project management and procurement.
