Elliot Hong

Elliot Hong is a Bachelor of Science student in Computer Science at the University of Virginia, expected to graduate in May 2027. Currently serving as a Teaching Assistant for The Global Teaching Project, Elliot teaches remotely in Mississippi's public school system, focusing on inclusive lesson plans. In parallel, Elliot works as a Software Developer Intern at HRSD, engaging in full-stack development with technologies such as React and Django REST Framework, and has contributed to enhancing predictive models for water treatment efficiency. Additional roles include serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Department of Computer Science and a Student Software Developer at HooHacks, where Elliot has co-developed systems to improve user experience. Previous experience includes an internship as a Solutions Architect at Petra Medical College and a research assistantship at Hofstra University, where Elliot co-authored academic proofs in mathematics.
