Kristin Hawkins has extensive work experience in public relations, marketing communications, and product development. Kristin is currently a Senior Director of Public Relations at Hooker Furnishings Corporation, where they started in 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a freelance public relations and marketing communications professional from 2021 to 2022.

From 2015 to 2021, Hawkins held the role of Vice President at McNeill Communications Group / Steinreich Communications, where they were responsible for strategic and creative positioning of client projects, content creation, new product launches, marketing campaigns, corporate communications, social media, and strategic events.

Before that, they worked as a Product Development Process Manager at HSM - The new name for Hickory Springs from 2012 to 2015. Kristin also had experience as an Account Manager at MicroD, Inc. in 2012, where they focused on developing and maintaining business relationships with clients to increase revenue.

At Broyhill, they managed the Stage-Gate Process, collaborated with consumer insights teams, and oversaw media planning and placement.

Hawkins began their career at Esseplast USA in 2003, where they held the roles of Marketing Coordinator and Marketing Associate. Their responsibilities included coordination of marketing functions, media and public relations management, and development of point of sale display programs.

Kristin Hawkins received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a focus on Marketing, from Appalachian State University between 1999 and 2003.
