Ravi Shanker

Ravi Shanker has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. RAVI is currently employed as the Senior Vice President Operations at Hoonartek since October 2022. Previously, they worked at WAISL Limited as the Head of Service Delivery, where they managed various aspects of IT infrastructure and applications for the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi from July 2020 to September 2022.

Prior to that, Ravi Shanker worked at Cognizant for nine years, starting from March 2010 to September 2019. During their tenure at Cognizant, they held multiple roles including Service Delivery Manager, Project Manager, Transition Manager, and Technical PM. RAVI was responsible for managing teams supporting production, testing, and development environments, and also played a key role in migration projects and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Before joining Cognizant, Ravi Shanker worked at Satyam Computer Services Limited as a Project Manager from June 2003 to March 2010. RAVI played various roles in database management and architecture, working with different teams in on-site/off-shore models.

Additionally, Ravi Shanker has experience as a Technology Consultant at Birla Technologies and as a Consultant at Schoolnet India Limited.

Ravi Shanker earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science Engineering from Bangalore University between 1994 and 1998. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance from Symbiosis between 2003 and 2005. Additionally, Ravi Shanker holds various certifications, including the PRINCE2 Practitioner Certificate in Project Management, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and multiple ITIL Foundation and Intermediate Certificates in IT Service Management. RAVI also obtained the BS ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Information Security Management Systems Implementation Course certification in 2020.
